The Hamburg-based band Deine Freunde creates music for kids and the young at heart. For the release of their song “XXL-Wunschzettel”, they themselves requested an animated lyric video.

Working with the character designs of the band’s avatars and bringing the song’s lyrics to life was a joyful challenge for this video. Blender 3D’s ability to hand-draw animation directly in 3D space allowed for playful camera movements and surprising scene transitions.
